Gak...so much fun!

The Basic Gak Recipe

Use a measuring cup and follow the recipe exactly.

Glue mixture:

2 cups white glue

1 1/2 cups tap water

Soap mixture:

2 teaspoons borax (found in the laundry section of grocery store)

1 cup HOT water

Slowly add glue mixture to soap mixture. It will quickly coagulate and be a bit difficult to mix, but it will mix. Pour off excess water. Let stand for a few minutes and knead.

Poke it, pull it, roll it, scribble on it with markers, drape it over things, and cut it! It sticks to favric and rugs, but not to tables!

Buddy, A Baby Shower, and Funny Sayings

Last Saturday, Jamie and I took Jamison to Sternberg to see Buddy from Dinosaur Train. Jamison was so excited to meet Buddy, but when the time came, he had to have Daddy right there with him. This event was sponsored by PBS, and they even gave out pretty great goody bags. This time at Sternberg, Jamison would not walk by the T-Rex at all!

Yesterday was my sister-in-law's Baby Shower. It was attended my many friends and family of the mom to be. Megan and Cody now have all the items they need to bring home the baby in about 7 weeks! I am very excited, and can not wait to become an aunt again. Cody and Megan did not find out if they are having a boy or a girl, but personally I have my fingers crossed for a very healthy baby girl!

Last, I decided to start a section that includes some of the funny things my child says. Somedays, I am nearly brought to the floor laughing.

Jamison: "Daddy, don't I look good?"
Jamie (joking of course): "Um, no, you look ugly!"
Jamison: "Daddy! I look splendid!"
Seriously the kid is 3!

Yesterday, the boys were playing basketball in the living room. The ball accidently went downstairs. Jamison put his hands on his cheeks and said, "Oh, dear!" It was very cute!

I'm Back!

I have finally decided to get back into the blogging life. We have been super busy, but I have a helper now! Jamison! I stole this blog from a friend, who I belive got the idea from another.
